Vietnamese Green Papaya and Biltong Salad

Traditional Vietnamese Papaya Salad calls for beef jerky. So, it’s a no brainer that we replaced that with our Spicy (or Traditional!) Biltong for a pop of protein that adds no additional sugar without sacrificing flavor. Fresh, tangy and filled with umami flavors - you’re going to love this take on one of our favorite Asian sides.


  • 1 package of Spicy Biltong

  • handful of chopped basil 

  • fried garlic or dried shrimp (optional)

  • 2 cups light soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons chili paste and/or chopped chilis

  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped (about 2 teaspoons)


  1. Grate or shred the papaya. 

  2. Toss together the salad ingredients.

  3. Top with fried garlic or dried shrimp (optional).

  4. Take a picture for instagram (tag us!) 

  5. Enjoy!
