Springboard is a platform within Kraft Heinz dedicated to nurturing, scaling, and accelerating growth of disruptive U.S. brands within the food and beverage space. It seeks opportunities to develop brands with authentic propositions and inspired founders. This is Springboard's inaugural year and we are proud to announce that Ayoba-Yo has been selected to participate! Over 200 companies applied and after a few rounds of interviewing, as well as a live pitch (Shark Tank style), Kraft Heinz was able to recognize the potential of Biltong & Droewors and Ayoba-Yo was chosen along with 4 other premium products.

Over the course of the next 16 weeks, we will travel back and forth from Washington, DC to Chicago, where we will participate in a dynamic program composed of learning, infrastructure access, and mentorship.

The other companies selected include: Cleveland Kraut, a bold brand, grounded in and proud of its Cleveland heritage, dedicated to serving the great tasting healthy fermented foods at a fair price.
Kumana, who is best known for its signature Venezuelan-inspired Avocado Sauce.
Poppilu, a truly irresistible, mouth puckering, high-antioxidant, citrus lemonade.
And Quevos, salty and crunchy egg-white chips, that are low in carbs and fat, and packed with protein.
